Christmas at Garfield

Saturday, December 14, 10 - 1 pm

Free admission during the above times | All Ages

Visit the Conservatory to meet Santa and see Conservatory Crossing, the holiday train and poinsettia show. You can also visit the Arts Center to make holiday-themed crafts and head to the Burrello Family Center where Mrs. Claus will have some tasty treats. All activities are free. Bring your own camera to take photos with Santa.

Train Tales

Tuesday & Wednesday, December 10 & 11, 10 - 11 am

$6 per child | Ages: 2-5 years

Bring your preschooler to this program with a focus on the natural world. Join us for a different nature-related story, activity and craft each month. In December, we will have Train Tales to enjoy Conservatory Crossing and a Wednesday session is also available. Registration required. Click on the desired session below for registration information.

Holiday Family Storytime

Friday, December 20, 6:15 - 7:15 pm

$15 per family or $7 per individual | Ages: All

Join us for a reading of The Polar Express complete with hot chocolate, a craft and a chance to explore Conservatory Crossing. This program is geared towards kids ages 4-8, but all families are welcome. Program fee includes admission to the Conservatory (open until 8pm). Registration required, as space is limited.

Evenings at Conservatory Crossing

You've seen our Conservatory Crossing display, but have you seen it at night?  It's a whole other experience! Come see all the lights aglow on the Christmas tree, train display and throughout the Conservatory. Come in and warm up from the cold Indiana winter with the warm glow of holiday lights all around you in our tropical Conservatory. Admission is the same as day time admission.

Herbal Gifts - Adults

Saturday, December 7, 10:00 - 11:30 am

$5 per person paid to instructor upon arrival to class

Central Indiana Herb Society

Join the Herb Society of Central Indiana for a holiday craft workshop. Attendees to this popular program will receive snacks, recipes, and handouts in addition to the opportunity to make gifts for family and friends. $5 fee to be paid to program instructor. Registration required.
