Girl Scout Programs

 

 

 

Girl Scout groups are always welcome to visit the Conservatory, participate in public programs, and request virtual programs for their groups.

 

Programs designed specifically for Girl Scouts are listed below. Registration is required for these programs. Both group and individual registrations are welcome. Please contact education staff at gpcons@indy.gov or 317.327.7183 with any questions.

 

- Registration tip: If registering more than one scout, you can register multiple spots under one scouts name. -

 

Daisies: Become an Eco-Learner

Date: Thursday, September 9

Time: 5:15-6:00 pm | Course # 27142

Time: 5:45-6:30 pm | Course # 27143

Fee: $5 per scout

Daisies and their leaders can explore the outdoors while learning how to protect it. Program will take place in our Children’s Garden and will include a packet that will guide groups through the activities. Eco-learner badge requirements will be met; however, badge is not provided.

 

Juniors: Flower Focus

Date: Thursday, September 9

Time: 5:30-6:15 pm | Course # 27137

Time: 6:00-6:45 pm | Course # 27140

$5 per scout

Scouts and their leaders can enjoy some time in our Children’s Garden as they discover more about flowers. Groups will pick up a packet at check-in and use it to guide them through the program. Flowers badge requirements will be met; however, badge is not provided.

 

Brownies: Bugs

Thursday, September 23

Time: 5:30-6:15 pm | Course # 27145

Time: 5:45-6:30 pm | Course # 27146

Time: 6:00-6:45 pm | Course # 27147

$5 per scout

Brownies and their leaders are invited to come “get buggy” in our Children’s Garden as they discover more about insects and bugs. Groups will pick up a packet at check-in and use it to guide them through the program. Bugs badge requirements will be met; however, badge is not provided.

 

Girl Scout Holiday Night

Tuesday, December 7

Time: 6:30-6:15 pm | Course # 27148

Time: 6:30-7:15 pm | Course # 27149

$8 per scout

Girl Scouts are invited for an evening to experience Conservatory Crossing – the holiday poinsettia and train display. In addition to enjoying the display, scouts will also make a holiday craft and take the scavenger hunt challenge.
