It’s springtime at the Garfield Conservatory! Come see our stunning display of tulips and other spring blooms against the backdrop of our permanent tropical collection.
March 1-8, 2024

This spring break garden gnomes from far and wide will gather at the Conservatory! See this whimsical display of garden gnomes and try to spot them all! This year’s theme is “Gnomes Save the Day,” allowing visitors to enjoy the gnomes’ as our favorite superheroes. Contact the staff for information about loaning a gnome to be part of the display.
March 22 - April 7, 2024

This weekend, the Garfield Conservatory will be filled with displays of blooming orchids from across the Midwest. Come check out this annual event presented by the Central Indiana Orchid Society. Orchids will also be available for sale.
April 20 & 21, 2024
For two nights only! Get spooked as you walk through the Haunted Conservatory, complete with scary music, decoration and ghouls! (Recommended for ages 8+) Registration is not required. Note: Event includes the use of strobe lights and artificial fog.
October 23 & 24
5:30-7:00 Less Scary | 7-9 PM Scary
Join the Indianapolis Bonsai Club as they showcase their unique bonsai specimens throughout the Conservatory. Club members will be available to answer your questions, and vendors will have items for sale.
June 8 & 9, 2024
Come enjoy our winter wonderland! See the Conservatory decked out in its holiday best with a brilliant display of poinsettias, model trains and village, and thousands of twinkling lights.
